Uncle Gary's Corn Chowder

Ingredients:

12 slices bacon
1 medium onion, thinly sliced and separated
2 c canned corn
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 1/2 c whole milk (or 2%)
1 tsp salt
dash pepper

In sauce pan cook bacon until extra crisp; crumble. Brown onion in same pan after bacon is removed, in 3 tsp of the bacon grease. Add all ingredients, simmer, covered for 15 minutes.
